Top Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Czech Republic: Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications on Android in the Czech Republic displayed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active user metrics. Here, we explore the trends of these leading apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Mapy.com: maps & navigation showed significant growth in revenue, spiking at approximately $42.9K during mid-December. Weekly downloads experienced a gradual decline, starting from around 6.5K at the beginning of October and reaching about 4.9K by the end of December. Meanwhile, weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at 1.3M and closing the quarter at roughly 1.2M.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a steady download rate with numbers ranging from 4.4K to 4.9K, and active users saw fluctuations, closing the quarter at approximately 390K.

Google Earth had consistent weekly downloads, averaging around 1.1K to 1.5K. Active users remained stable, ending the quarter with about 22.5K.

Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps experienced a decline in weekly revenue from $1.1K in early October to $778 by the end of December. Downloads showed a similar downward trend, starting from over 700 and dropping to 331. Active users, however, saw a slight increase, ending the quarter with approximately 11K.

Finally, SeTracker2 demonstrated an interesting pattern with download numbers peaking at 2.4K in late December. Active users increased significantly, closing the quarter at 3.2K.
